These terms apply to your use of morissetdoctors.com.au and every page on it. By using the site you accept them; if you do not, please do not use it.

They sit alongside our privacy policy and practice policies. The site is published by Morisset Doctors, Shop 5, 35 Yambo Street, Morisset NSW 2264.

Everything on this website is general health information. It does not take into account your history, medicines, allergies or circumstances, and using it does not create a doctor and patient relationship. That begins when you attend an appointment.

If you are worried about a symptom, book an appointment or call (02) 4006 8222. Do not delay seeing a doctor, or start, stop or change a medicine, because of something you read here.

Nothing submitted through this website reaches a doctor immediately. If you or someone else is seriously unwell, with chest pain, severe breathlessness, signs of stroke, heavy bleeding, a seizure, a serious injury or thoughts of self-harm, call 000 or go to your nearest hospital emergency department.

For advice at any hour, call Healthdirect on 1800 022 222. For mental health support, call Lifeline on 13 11 14 or the NSW Mental Health Line on 1800 011 511.

Online bookings are provided by HotDoc, an independent service with its own terms and privacy policy. You can always book by calling (02) 4006 8222. A booking is a request for a time, not a guarantee; appointments can run late when another patient needs more time, and urgent cases are prioritised. Please let us know as early as possible if you cannot attend.

Availability, hours and services can change. The information reception gives you at the time you contact us is the one that applies.

We take care to keep this site accurate, but health guidance changes and information may become out of date between reviews. Fees, hours, doctor availability and services can change without notice. Conditions, tests and procedures are described in general terms, and your own experience may differ.

We link to organisations such as Healthdirect, My Health Record, HotDoc, NSW Health, 4Cyte Pathology and support services because the information may be useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.

Ordinary email is not secure and our inbox is not monitored continuously, so please do not send health information by email. Call (02) 4006 8222 or book an appointment. Our social media accounts are not a clinical channel, and we do not discuss individual patients there.

You agree not to:

• Interfere with the site, its security or availability, or attempt unauthorised access
• Introduce malicious code
• Scrape, harvest or republish content by automated means without permission
• Impersonate anyone or submit false information
• Post or send anything defamatory, offensive or unlawful through any form or account associated with the practice

We may restrict access where we reasonably believe the site is being misused.

Unless stated otherwise, the content, design, photography and code on this site belong to Morisset Doctors or are used under licence. You may read, print and share pages for personal, non-commercial use, such as bringing a page to an appointment. You may not reproduce, republish, adapt or sell any part of the site commercially without written permission.

Third-party names and marks, including Medicare, MyMedicare, HotDoc and 4Cyte Pathology, belong to their owners and are used for identification only.

You can give feedback to any team member, at reception, or in writing to the Practice Manager. We will look into it and tell you the outcome, and it will never affect your care.

You will not find testimonials about clinical care on this website. Section 133 of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law prohibits testimonials in advertising regulated health services, so we neither publish nor request them.

To the extent permitted by law, Morisset Doctors is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, information on this website, or from the site being unavailable or containing errors. This does not limit our responsibility for the clinical care we provide to you.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupply.

How we collect, use, store and disclose your personal information is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. You can read this site without telling us who you are, and we do not sell your information.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. If any part is found unenforceable, it is severed and the rest continues to apply.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here, with its review date, is the one that applies, and continuing to use the site means you accept any update.
